This is traditional egg bread for the Jewish Sabbath. What is Jewish Sabbath? I do not know! Darling was asking when to make bread for him again and I found this recipe online. The best thing was I had all the ingredients on hand. Darling likes this bread very much and asked me to bake again, but to me it was so so as I prefer soft bread.
Hi! Just been looking around your blog a bit, you've got some yummy looking things here! The Jewish Sabbath is Saturday, when they're not supposed to do any wordly work, so they make this bread ahead of time so they don't have to bake on the Sabbath. That's how it's been explained to me at least :D
