Had fried rice at Chinese Restaurant named Kam Fook located at Bondi Junction weeks ago. The fried rice was superb and the rice itself was very tasty. They added fish roe make the fried rice taste even better. I was thinking why the rice itself taste so good while I was eating. Maybe seasoning was added to the plain rice when they cook it?
My fried rice experiment #1: I cooked the rice with some fish powder and pinch of salt. Indeed the fried rice taste better than those I cooked before. Experiment #2 yet to come, going to make some changes to the first experiment for better result.
