Mee Goreng is Malay name of fried noodles, the main different between Chinese fried noodles and Malay friend noodles is that Chinese style uses dark soy sauce (non-spicy), whereas Malay style uses sambal belacan (spicy). In Malaysia, there is another type of mee goreng you can find at mamak stall, which is cooked with ketchup and chili sauce.
