The white sauce make this simple dish tasted delicious... added onion, parsley and seasoning to the basic white sauce to make this sauce. It was great with Japanese rice (short grain) tasted like risotto. Was thinking to make mashed potatoes but changed my mind when I saw the leftover rice. Placed rice underneath the salmon, made a well in the middle and filled with the sauce. The rice tasted great as it absorbed the sauce. Tak loved his with caviar... plenty of caviar.
