Choc Cupcake

Feel like eating cake today... whipped up some chocolate cupcakes with candy topping. Did not use butter or cream icing, I hate fighting with the guilty feeling. I used Chocolate Genoise cake recipe from joyofbaking, it is something between sponge and butter cake, or a butter-reduced butter cake. Got to take care of my heart...

Nor... you got to ask the candy company for the recipe!! i bought them from supermarket, then i melt it in the oven. You can use any clear candy... if you have metal cookies cutter, drop 1 candy (crushed) in it, then put in the oven for 5 minutes. remember to line the baking tray with baking paper first.

Marvellous candy deco you have thanks for the idea because I got lefover candy in the fridge and didn't know what to do with them other than popping them into my mouth just to finish them. You are always so cre8tive, Lydia!
