Scallop and Shredded Chicken Porridge (干贝鸡丝粥)

Scallop & Shredded Chicken Porridge

Cooked this porridge for breakfast as requested by T. It is rare that he would ask for porridge as breakfast, he usually "order" either bread/muffin or stir-fried noodles. I like to use Japanese short grain rice to cook porridge, it has smoother texture.

I love porridge but not for breakfast. :D For breakfast, I like something "dry" like pau, bread, kuih, stir-fried noodles.... nasi lemak... looooong list!! And... with a cup of hot coffee. Porridge does not match well with hot coffee. :p
