Dragon fruit itself has little or no fruity aroma. Will try to make glazed fruit again.Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08466490117794441716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14435557.post-89883199510287783542008-08-26T19:54:00.000+09:002008-08-26T19:54:00.000+09:00HiFantastic blog, love the photography!I must admi...Hi
Fantastic blog, love the photography!

I must admit I've never tried dragon fruit, must give them a try.
Regarding the glaze; have you tried the following:

1. Add the glaze ingredients to a pan and bring to a boil.

2. Lower to a medium heat and simmer until the mixture is thick but pourable.

3. Remove from heat and let the glaze cool for a little Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14435557.post-79729417747248902242008-08-23T21:23:00.000+09:002008-08-23T21:23:00.000+09:00Hi Lydia! I would think the syrup used for dipping the fruits might be cooked to a later stage (crack or 144°C). As I've not done it before, I'm not sure if you should let them dry as is, finish it in the oven, or maybe even deep fry them :)Manggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05977929776424593762noreply@blogger.com
