Few months ago, I received an email from Y3K's editor about featuring recipes on their food magazine. They came all the way from KL to Penang for photo shooting as it was inconvenient for me to travel to their studio in KL with the little one.
As I have received quite a number of enquiries about lotus root recipes, I decided to share some of the Japanese (home-cook) recipes using lotus root. I have also prepared both sweet and savoury pastry for the potho shooting. For those interested, my recipes are featured in Y3K Recipes (美厨食谱), Issue 49 7/8-2009, page 30-37.
