We were invited to a "dinner" last weekend. When we arrived at the venue, I saw kids and balloons. Oops! It's a party! I asked T who's birthday? T replied "I don't know, I was busy when I received the call." We thought it was a Rotarians gathering and dinner... and we didn't bring any present! That was the first time I attended a party without present, so embarrassed. Luckily we brought some cake pops I made with moist chocolate cake. Those cake pops had truffle-like texture and taste, some were whisky added. Chocolate cake + ganache + chocolate coating = drown in the chocolate?
These look amazing - and I LOVE the cake recipe!
ReplyDeleteI am a new cook and don't mean to sound dumb - bur could you tell me how you got these into little "pops"?
Thank you SO much - I am a newly devoted reader!!!!
these looks absolutely delicious! and how fun to make and enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropped by.
1) Break cake into small pieces with fingers
2) Add ganache, mix well.
3) Shape into small balls. Keep them in fridge for about 30minutes to firm up and will be easier to work with later.
4) Coat with melted choc or cocoa powder.
Happy baking!
