am Lydia Fujikawa, the only cook, baker, writer and photographer of My Kitchen. I am a Chinese-Malaysian, married to a Japanese guy and we have two junior sumo food tasters named John and Sean. We are currently living in Kyoto, Japan. 

My Kitchen (My/Malaysian) was created in May 2005 with my first kitchen located in Sydney. My Kitchen is a personal blog, where I collect tested and tasted family recipes, as well as recipes from the result of numerous experimentations in My Kitchen. Recipes 
in My Kitchen mostly called for fresh ingredients and minimal canned or prepared foods. I do store some canned foods for "emergency" use. I believe in feeding my family with real things, fresh and a wide variety of vegetables, fishes and meats.
