This was the result of an unscheduled experiment with an almost forgotten avocado. Prepared this dip while preparing dinner and served with capsicum and carrot sticks as pre-dinner snacks. Tak loved it. Btw, he likes to have a beer and some snacks, such as crisps, pickled veggies and olives before dinner. It is more like an appetizer to him. Usually he will have his beer while dinner is being prepared.
Anyway, I made it again and this time we ate with "puff sticks", something like bread stick but made from puff pastry. Yumm... need to buy some avocados and blue cheeses.
Ingredients (makes 1 cup):
1 ripe avocado
3-4 tbsp creamy blue cheese
- Mash avocado together with blue cheese.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Serve immediately before the avocado turned brown!
