Great to have a pot of pipping hot soup in the cold winter nights. Well, not yet winter here but it is waiting at the corner. This si chuan style sour and spicy soup is one of my favourite soups. There are several versions, some cooked with chili and white vinegar, and others cooked with ground white pepper and black vinegar. However, the ingredients are pretty much the same. Main ingredients include black fungus, shiitake mushroom, bamboo shoot, carrot and chicken.
I liked to eat from a bowl... and topped up umpteenth times!
