This plate was for Tak, beer battered snapper fillets with chips and salad. My plate was grilled fish with salad, healthier option. I did steal some chips from Tak's plate though... no guilty feeling this time, still within my calorie credit limit. Btw, I like to use chilled beer for tempura and also deep fried items, for its taste and crispiness.
Ingredients:
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup fine rice flour (different from those used in baking)
1 cup cold water or beer
Pinch of dashi powder or salt
Methods:
Bring all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and mix until just blended.
