I like this pickle very much but it is my first hands-on, easy to make but time consuming in preparing various type of vegetables. I always ordered this dish from either nasi lemak or Indian econ-rice stalls when living in Singaprore, and thought that it was one of Indian/Malay dishes! One of my ex's aunties made good acar, regretted that I did not get the recipe from her. *_^
I made a big container of acar with Amy Beh's recipe, glad that I tried it... yummm!! T also loving it, I am already planning to make it for upcoming family gathering.
