One of the favourite veggie dishes at my kitchen, both Tak and I love it very much. I do not know why sambal belacan goes very well with beans or peas. This dish was ready in 3 minutes with the homemade sambal belacan readily in the fridge.

Ingredients:
2 cups chopped snake bean (aka long bean)
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 bulb shallot, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Handful dried shrimp, soaked and minced
3-4 tbsp sambal tumis
Salt to taste
Methods:
- Heat oil in wok, stir in shallot, garlic and dried shrimp. Stir fry until fragrant or browned lightly.
- Add in snake bean and stir fry with high heat until the colour turned bright green. Stir in sambal and cook for another one minute or so.
- Read to be served.
If you are cooking a lot, lightly fry the snake bean first then toss in with sambal.
