Andrew from Spittoon Extra is hosting the Waiter, there's somthing event and this round is there is something in my bread! After reading his post about the event I decided to bake him some flower of surprises breads.
Surprises on the Easter morning actually, flower shape breads made with focaccia dough. I have been baking focaccia bread for breakfast for almost a week now. Tak loves it very much, but I feel like kind of stuck with this bread. On one hand I want to bake something that Tak likes and on the other I want to hands-on other breads.
So I used half amount of the focaccia dough to make these breads today, with sliced cheese and tuna fillings in the petals. I mixed them up before arrange them into the flower shape on the baking sheet. I did not tell Tak what was inside, it was fun looking at Tak's expression as he discovered different fillings in each petal. Actually after baking I could not tell which is which, kind of surprised myself too.
